Snap Crackle Pop…Big Savings

Oh good, you’re back to hear about more ways to save with online coupons. Today we’re talking about Kellogg’s Cereal Coupons.

I love Kellogg’s because they’ve been around so long there are all sorts of great recipes that use Kellogg’s Cereal. You can take cereal beyond breakfast and snack food. Here are a few of my favorites.

Everyone knows the one where you coat the chicken in cornflakes to make a mock fried chicken. Of course we all love that. But my favorite is crunchy pork chops rolled in Kellogg’s Corn Flakes.

You dip the chop in egg, and then roll it in a mixture of corn flakes, salt, pepper, garlic, onion powder, paprika, and poultry seasoning. Bake the chops on a baking stone, and it’s delish.

My other favorite recipe includes Kellogg’s Rice Crispies. And no, I’m not talking about Rice Crispy Treats. We all know and love those. I use Rice Crispies in meatloaf. I use them in place of breadcrumbs or oats or whatever bread product the meatloaf recipe calls for. It’s quick and easy to add, and I always have them on hand. Plus, since I shop with Kellogg’s Cereal Coupons, throwing a few handfuls of cereal into a recipe is a cheap way to enhance dinner.

Of course I also have a favorite sweet Kellogg’s recipe. It’s the one where you use Rice Crispies and Corn Flakes together with peanut butter to make those yummy chewy Scotcharoos. That is my go to treat recipe when I’m in a hurry. After all I always have cereal and peanut butter on hand.
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups peanut butter
  • 6 cups crisp rice cereal
  • 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Melt and bring to boil syrup, sugar and peanut butter. Stir in cereal. Pat into greased cake pan. Top with chips. Spread with knife when warm. Cool, and eat.
So the tip of the day is, use Kellogg’s Cereal in your cooking too, and save with free, online Kellogg’s Cereal Coupons
