The other day my kids spent a good 20 minutes trying to convince me that pizza is a healthy meal. Who knew the cost of packing a lunch everyday for my little kindergartener would add up so quickly. After several months of complaining about the cost, I finally found free Junk Food Coupons. Homemade Hummus

1 can garbanzo beans

2 T tahini

2 T lime juice

¼ t cumin

½ red pepper flakes

½ t salt

2+ T olive oil

Dump everything into a food processor and whirl until smooth. If necessary add a bit water if too thick. I’ve found that with Hummus the best way to get the perfect mix, is to taste it. Some days I’m like more lime, other days I’d like to make it a little more spicy, and then I add a tad more pepper flakes.

We all seem to be a little low on cash these days, but we still like to get together with friends and go to parties. I’ve found that a good and inexpensive way to bring a nice appetizer is bring hummus and crackers. A Minimalist's Guide to Shampoo & Shopping

I love to shop, but I hate to buy unnecessary things. Thus, I have to choose the things I buy carefully. I don’t like clutter in any form. I can’t stand having extra spoons in the kitchen drawers or extra bottles of shampoo and soap in the shower. I am a minimalist who likes to shop. It is a bit of an oxy moron, but I’ve made it work.
